Here are a few tips for selling your home for a profit.
   
1. List high, included 'motivated seller' with listing
   
2. Complete surface renovation. Do not over-invest.
   
3. Offer un-expensive bonuses: free new blinds, free new garage opener...
   
4. List by owner: this will allow you to pocket more money from the generated profit
